Look the 9/12L are ok, just find the right people in the Regiment and stick with them, you will be fine, stop acting like an old woman about all this, I know some people are boring in life and you are unfortunately one of them,but you must stop it, Im sure you will be ok, you seem to take things seriously which is good to an extent, but lighten up, you will get cocks wherever you go,you might be one to them, as they are you... just work with them and then when its r and r you don't have to talk to them... I just wonder if RAC is for you?

I served with the 9/12 for the whole time they were at Swanton Morley. They were a good bunch of lads and never had a problem with any of them. Like in all regiments, you will get the knobs and bell ends.

During my time I was attached to 4 regiments and the 9/12 were the best I served with.

Catherine_r, you must be a right bunny boiler for him to resort to saying he is gay to get rid of you. haha
Out of interest, was the guy he supposedly cheated on you with, in the Regt as well?

I remember on Telic 12 with the 9/12, a certain Trooper I was at phase 2 with was very 'famous' indeed. On one of the stag huts some of your guys had written 'facts' which he had said, like his uncle had a 15ft snake which ate his dog. I wonder if he is still there. I'm certain you'd know him if he was.

Hopefully the lads will just suffer from roll-mat rash and lack of lube. (You get used to it after a while.)

Are 9/12th doing BRF - Are they not doing their normal Formation Recce role?

Virtually all the lads on H9 in BRF were Royal or All Arms qualified - not sure if attaching 30 Lancers will work. (If they are working together then I hope it does work. I've worked with and supported 9/12th and Royal on tour both and can guarantee top notch banter!)

You are behind the curve. BRF is now a core function of FR Regts. Each FR Regt is re-roling or has re-roled one of its "traditional" FR Sqns to become the core of a BRF. This Sqn is then added to during the force generation, HFT and MST to produce the full BRF ORBAT with the organic capabilities not found in the FR Sqn.

Although the potential for non-Commando forces forming part of the 3X BRF provides a tempting discussion topic, might I suggest that we take some care in what we write about here with reference to up coming operational commitments.
