and listen to this! had my selection and passed, and in my interview i asked captain lister why the 9/12 lancers get so much stick and he said ''its jelousy, because they are THE recce regiment they are the best, and other regiments get bitter because they got amalgamated and they didnt'' and no he wasnt a 9/12 but a kings hussar so stick that were it hurts lol, 9/12 are the best recce regiment end of.

Child, listen to your betters. I am not cav, tanks or recce. However I've served with all three types of units. The 9/12th were the worst unit I have served with on several levels. The QRL's were a far better regiment.

9/12th get the stick as they invariably have enough donkeys in it to deserve the stick they get. Oh and most of their donkeys belong to the tossifer class. So join em, enjoy the banter. Try not to be too dissapointed once you get there.
