incidently, i have also heard the KRH called Sh1t heads on account of the colour of their head dress. chap in question didn't live long i hear.

You are quite right,you were the senior Regiment by 1 year,but at at least we didn't fight for Oliver Cromwell against the Crown,and you were only 66% of establishment in March 1969 as I remember.Some of us are justifiably proud of the Eagle on the sleeve,however it was much better as a cap badge and who won the lion's share of the battle Honours?
