Re: JLR RAC
No I'm pretty sure it was 'Bakers Pit', you parked up in the housing estate and walked into the woods to the entrance!

Soprano,
You stand correct young man. Just a reminder I remember 2 pothole locations Pridemslea and Baker Pit, was there anymore?
I loved potholing! Not recommended to do it after a night on the slash with other PS members, unless they have corks up their arses!Speak when you're angry and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret.

Re: JLR RAC
My god is that old bicycle frame still there?? it needs to be recovered and mounted as a memorial at Stanley Barracks. Dewerstone Rocks!! How I hated rock climbing. Dewarstone was the start point when I did Gun-carriage (later known as escalation) and we pushed and pulled that thing all the way to Bicklie Viaduct where we then did the high abseil and the poor sods who had just done that then had to take the gun carriage back to Dewerstone. There is something to be said for getting the worst over first!!.

Re: JLR RAC
'76 - PTI that wore a grey beret used to ask individuals if they were of the Jewish persuasion, on replying 'No Cpl' he would say 'Are you sure?' - 'Yes Cpl' - 'Well put some bleddy polish on your pumps, wall bars go'
The older I get, the better I was!
