There was a monumental cocktail party, you see, then the skiing season. One has to concentrate on the important things.

I gather C Sqn's Command Troop vehicles were renamed Candy, Cream & Cherries if I'm not mistaken.

Party? What party? I know of no party even if it did take place before I arrived!

Didn't you tankie types have any means of heating tinned food up near the exhaust?

Us Wedgies armed with CETs had a lovely "armoured" cowl around the exhaust with some little ribs inside just right for sitting a tin of steak and onion or babies heads on. After a decent cabby or digging a slot/ditch you parked up to piping hot scoff.
    Bliss in a can!!
