    Re: HBMGC/Tank Corps Memorial Ypres Salient 1917 - 1918

Thank you Arfur. Your positive comments are much appreciated however, I must point out there are several others heavily involved in this project, such as T31B who I am visiting this weekend profesionally and socialy of course and our little friend in Herford VTT. The rest of the team are all Belgians who realy just want to show their appreciation and offer commemoration and remembrance to our fallen tank crews. I have a super team! I will pass on your kind comments. Cheers mucker! :D

And they have a super leader. ;)

The idea, the first draft and of course to keep everyone not just going on but improving and enjoying the whole project ... well I think it's vital to tell you what an outstanding job you're doing, Banjo.

    Hi all.

RTR HQ has asked me to confirm which RTR Branch Associations and Standards will be attending?

The Inauguration Ceremony is being put together as we speak. To those Secretaries who have not responded as of yet, can you please confirm with me your Branch attendance or not.

    Thank you.

Chaps, it was a fantastic week-end and without doubt BJT and his local helpers have achieved an incredible tribute to those who served in the Flanders area during WW1. If you ever get a chance, visit it and the area where it all happened. BJT well done mate, very well done.
'No military pomp attended its birth or decease. It was not a famous regiment with glamour and whatnot, but born for war only and not for parades. From the moment of its formation it was kicking. It is with much sadness that I recall its disbandment in 1922; like old soldiers it simply faded away. 'so said former machine gunner George Coppard 'With a Machine Gun to Cambrai'
