Hi, I'm looking at joining up for possibly next year.

I want to do the "Driver/Air Despatcher" trade with the RLC.

    I'm 18, 152lbs and in good shape.
    I have semi-good GCSE's (B and 6+ C's)
I have a Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Motor vehicle.
I have had a part-time job and currently work for an agency doing portering work.
I also do volunteer work for an animal rescue charity.

    Physical stats:

    18 y/o(19 in april)
    6'0"
    152lbs

    10:30ish - 1.5miles
    70 situps - 2 mins
    50 pressups - 2 mins

    (if strength matters)
    Bench 1rm - 90kg
    Deadlift 1rm - 150kg
    Squat 1rm - 100kg

I was wondering if I could get any insight as to what my chances of getting a place with the air despatch team?

Hi guys I am wondering does anybody have any information about becoming a Veterinary Officer in the regular army? I am currently a first year Veterinary Medicine student in UCD ireland, I know its a bit early but I want to get a good head start and prepare myself to be successful in my application. I have not yet applied but was hoping that people could give me some advice on what approach should I take. Thanks
