More than one, Matron was a Major, arrived, told to report to her, marched in saluted, etc, was greeted " hello, turn round drop your trousers!" and was given a boost on immunoglobulin due to a Hep A outbreak (I think it was).
Limped back to mess with greeting of "I see you've met Matron!"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up,
As true today as in 1320.

Yes that was correct, I was attached to 2AFALAD between 1988 to 1992, firstly in Roberts Kaserne and 2 Armd Fld Amb was at the end of camp near the NAAFI, around 1991 we all moved up to the top end of camp in Time Square when 25 Engineers moved out. In 1992 the unit moved up to Mercer Kaserne in Osnabruck then a year or so later moved to Munster to form the Med Regt I believe. Good times working with the Snakes and still in touch with many of the lads, great first unit to be with.
Barclays Fantasy football Premiership ARRSE Champion 2007/2008 season.
If Carlsberg made Fantasy league managers I would probably be the BEST MANAGER in the world.
I always told Potential Recruits and new lads to my Sections that there was never a stupid question, if you don't know ask.........However after reading some of the bone questions that people ask on ARRSE I might be wrong and there are some extremely STUPID QUESTIONS.
