I am like a Bugatti Veyron. Good to look at, runs on refined spirit, purrs and rumbles at low levels, but you know I can go immensely insane when I want to and if handled incorrectly might just possibly kill you. What more could you ask for?

I understood that these were supposed to be self taken photos? Apologies if you were the snapper. Actually, possibly there is no requirement for these photos to be self taken. Oh cock. In fact, maybe the very fabric of the universe is torn and this is all some wierd abberation and the internet and all it's attendant facets are a mere figment of my fevered imagination. Art is death yet death cannot represent art and photography is the ressurection of the form! All is black.... I implode!

Yes, yes but I think that you may be right. The title of the thread is 'Critique Please'. Surely you would be asking for a critique of your own work and not a photograph which somebody else had taken?

    Q.

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the Gun.

Now all the youth of England are on fire,
And silken dalliance in the wardrobe lies:
Now thrive the Armourers, and honour's thought
Reigns solely in the breast of every man.

Firstly its a pretty decent picture. How original is it, in terms of colour and editing at the moment? Just my opinion, But i would definately use a sharpening brush on all the key items on the horizon as its particularly blurry. Also i'd probably have a play around with the contrast and brightness as the background seems particularly bright considering the foreground iremains so dark. By darkening the contrast your not going to effect the foregound of the image anyway so can't hurt. in terms of brightness i would also tone that down, if your able, just do that to the treeline etc. Alternatively a very simple saturation change might be beneficial as it'd fade down the colours significantly. That with the sharpened background and with approximately 2.5 inches cropped off the top and in panaramoc would look sweet!! Would give it a go myself but don't have photoshop on te lappy unfortunately :(
