Dear friend, Looking at the results of your scanning it would appear that you may have a fault with your scanner or the software - not sure which as I do not know the details of the same. My first thought is the scanner is scanning in the wrong mode - thus "layering" has occurred. If you PM me the details of your scanner and the software I may be able to find a resolution to your problem.
EmsavI am like a Bugatti Veyron. Good to look at, runs on refined spirit, purrs and rumbles at low levels, but you know I can go immensely insane when I want to and if handled incorrectly might just possibly kill you. What more could you ask for?

Clean the scanner, and also how old is it? dirt and fluff gets inside makes it jerky, also check the band the powers the scanner head up and down the rubber rots and becomes stiff making it jerky causing the lines.

Any recommendations for a negative/slide scanner? I've got thousands of wet film stuff that I could inflict on the long-suffering readers of arrse.
It was like that when I got here.

Further to the request for a scanner recommendation, are there any on the market into which you could load say 24 prints and it would automatically scan each one and create 24 jpegs or tiffs?
