I think I'd be scared of damaging my lens! I had a set of these for the Minolta Close Up Macro Glass Lens Filter 58mm for Canon Nikon | eBay but it did also have a macro setting on the camera itself. Not sure how effective a set of close-up filters would be on a lens with no macro setting so haven't got new ones for the new camera.
Somewhere in the distance there was a snapping sound. It sounded a bit like a soggy kit kat breaking......

And the women are mingers and get on your wick.
If his Mum was a sex-toy she'd be a large dildo,
With his Dad as a c***-ring, too small for a Bilbo.

I would love this for a day just to practice so car shots oh and a few laps would be nice.

I personally would buy someones stock lens off them, for around 30-40 squid, along with the reverse mount, some of the stuff you can do for under £45 is immense!

Thanks again, always nice to have feedback on my photos! I must admit, even thought its not unique and has been done before! unlike your series
(jealous i did not think of it myself!), i would love to do a series based on this type of photo, with a really forced point of focus, through a lens of some type! (just like this http://angelajlee.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/lens.jpg)
Must admit though, I am very lucky, living in Cornwall, on what in my opinion is the most beautiful coastline in the UK, the images set themselves up! this is one of mine at Lands end

That's gorgeous Ben. Are you using a tripod or just supported on a rock or something? How slow is the shutter speed to get the "misty waves" effect?
I have found an old Canon lens from a film SLR someone in the family used to have so I may try out your reverse lens idea. I saw a You-Tube vid from Canon Australia where the photographer attached the reverse lens to her camera using gaffer tape!

Now all the youth of England are on fire,
And silken dalliance in the wardrobe lies:
Now thrive the Armourers, and honour's thought
Reigns solely in the breast of every man.

if only the Lowther would stay under water. Looks higher than when I went to uni there. I lived opposite Imphal 4 doors from the river and it never quite reached our door. That looks like it may have though :D
