As a STAB, but one whose away a fair bit, can I claim incidental expenses? I've been to germany a fair few times this year, so if I can claim, would that be a tenner a day?

I definetly don't want to pay for it myself cos I probably won't get the money back if they can't give me it now.
Been paid the advance today, twice. Anyone know how to pay money back through JPA??? Clerk is sat scratching his head wondering how he managed to authorise two advances and probably trying to work out how to make it my fault.

Unless You are a Casualty Duty User I'm afraid the best way would be to print a screenshot of their details. I resorted to do this to provide MCTC of SPs NOK.

    At the risk of offending:

    1. Have the information you require on the screen.
    2. Press ctrl & print Screen (right of Func buttons)
    3. Paste into a landscape formatted Word doc.
    4. Print to your hearts contents

For the editor: Private arrangements does replace the old staying with relatives scheme. You would not need receipts for this. The following is an extract from JSP 752 which explains the allowance.

    c. Private Arrangements Rate (PAR). PAR is only payable when no Service accommodation is available and NS would normally be claimed. Under these circumstances, where convenient, Service personnel have the option of making private arrangements to stay with relatives, (excluding their spouse/civil partner), or friends, as an alternative to using hotel accommodation. PAR is paid at a flat rate and covers up to a 24-hour period, to compensate for all expenses incurred during that period (ie all meals, accommodation costs (if any), a gift for the hosts etc). No DS may be claimed for any periods for which PAR is paid. The rate of PAR is at Chapter 1 Section 6. Where the claim is for family subsistence, only one PAR claim is permissible per night irrespective of the number of family members who travel together and irrespective of whether or not this includes a Service spouse/civil partner

I'd say the above is the best way also, since the print button won't work on the little 'enter address' window.. Or, get back on unicom and bring up their records! Progress! Isn't it great!

What would be usefull is a one stop document detailing all "standard claims" - When they can be claimed - what the going rate is and what heading they are lumped under in JPA.

And before anyone jumps in with JSP (Insert random number here). I was thinking more along the lines of a simple, easy to read, set of tables/page.

If such a thing already exists, and anyone knows it, then a link would be tops.
