FFS I can't believe that you have the nerve to repost after your previous threads!
Just do the manly thing and hand yourself in then you can repost with the definitive answers to all your questions. You could then even proclaim to be the SME . . .
To everyone else let's ignore him in the hope that he goes away and does the right thing
Like you're doing with your multiple posts :D .
Hand yourself in, knob/coward/tosser. Sooner you do, the sooner the sentence will be over, the shorter it will be and the quicker everyone will forget about you....
Have you ever thought, that by posting here, you are leaving digital footprints that can be traced back.....right to the puter that you are logged on...!!!
That said - don't you think that if your sentence would be that long you would be in great demand meaning that your front door would have been booted in by now...
Don't think that they would waste food, water, time and money on humouring you for longer.
They want rid of you so much they cannot even be bothered to look for you!
ive just been quoted that even if i hand myself in at catterick i will still get a lengthy sentance?
If you dont hand yourself in, you'll probably get an even longer one when they do catch you. And they will.
I very much doubt they will. I know a large amount of lads who have gone AWOL. Stayed at a registered next of kin address and still not been cought years later

Of course its always possible that his unit knew where he was but that he was such an almighty tosser that they couldn't be arrsed to pick him up. Also, unlike the old days when you could send the unit RP staff round to 'encourage' him to hand himself in, things are a bit trickier! The chances of being able to detain him once he's been picked up are slim these days too. The fluffiness has gone too far!
I have been speaking to a friend who said he knew someone in my position but never gave himself up!! But even if i do hand myself in at catterick i could be looking at 6 to 12 monthes detention ,Also a few people have said i could be released within 24 hours apparently ? Iknow everycase is different but i havent even tasted army life ,i made a bad mistake like we all do and i only want to put it right! 12 monthes detention is longer than i have spent in the army its been 5 years now and i only did phase1 2 thats it so i think 12 monthes is harsh !!!
Im Awol and I have been for 4 years, I Did Phase 1 and Phase 2 at Lichfield and catterick passed out at catterick but never went to my unit.
Im 25 now" and its time I sorted it out so im not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life.
The reason I went Awol is because I feel the army life is not for me and I tried to hand my notice in but they were not interested, So I decided to go Awol. Its been four years now and im woundering what I can excpect wen I return?
Ive been working in cash in hand jobs for most of this time and I want my Llife back so I can have a family and get on with life and have a decent life instead of woundering weather Im going to get the police pulling me on the road one day or something .
I have phoned the army Awol support line and the man said to me that I should hand myself in at catterick guard room? Which is worrying.
And I asked him what punishment to Exspect he said I could go to colchester, or I could get kept in at catterick do some time there and then they boot me out.
Or I could have to soildger on which is my worst case cenario,Because I would just go Awol again so theres no point of them trying to get me to soildger on really!
He also said he would arange for me to go to the army carrers office near me and have me pick up a travel warrant to go back to catterick
I just dont know wot to do can anyone with some knowledge of how the army deal with Absentees, Awol people like me and what I can expect wen I get to the guard room at catterick?
Ive also been told to go to the police station and hand myself in there I just dont know wot to do please help thanx.....................
The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is "What does a woman want?"
blue face - thank you for PMing me. You can see from the tone of the responses on here that the advice I gave you is pretty much mainstream and sensible, coming as it does between the "Run away and (hopefully) they will never find you" and "They are watching you..." schools of thought. Now either give yourself up and stop worrying yourself and us stupid or feck off and dress as a woman for the rest of your life and call yourself Beryl...
