Discuss LOA in germany. in Pay, Claims & JPA on The Army Rumour Service; Anyone know if you still get LOA if posted to Germany as a singly? Duty rumour here is that it's been cut completely for officers and SNCO's....

No it has not been cut - for anyone .... The rates have gone down a fair bit but ALL service personnel posted on stregth of a unit in Germany qualify for LOA. There have been changes to the way it is worked out and the differing levels .... Basically Its gone from 5 levels down to 2 for Other Ranks (the same has happened for Officers) them being Cpl and below and Sgt and above. ... http://www.ipublish.dii.r.mil.uk/nla...t.asp?id=10479 - gives you all the LOA rates world wide ... available to all on Dii !!!!
