Thanks, much appreciated. I managed to find the relevant information on this site, so no problems.
Thanks again

Re: Cambridge UOTC...any good?
Despite not having posted on here in some considerable time I note that none of my more recent former colleagues have contributed so I'll try and give you a brief summary of my experience.
I attended UEA and was a member of CUOTC for the whole time I was at university (2002 - 2006). I was Inf wing and did it mainly for the green element. Plenty of opportunities and a good insight into the forces. During my time with CUOTC i managed 5 weeks in the States, trip to Austria, numerous camps and training.
UEA is a detachment of CUOTC (last I heard anyway). Drill nights are held in Norwich but weekend training is done with Cambridge. There is a good amount of friendly rivalry between Camb folks and Norwich.
While with CUOTC I passed my RCB and though I wouldn't credit this entirely to the training I received I have no doubt that it helped.
In summary, you might as well, you have nothing to lose and chances are you'll have a brilliant time, earn some cash, and learn a bit about the job you want to do.

Bloody hell, another one gone to the dark side!
They're a good bunch up there, if a little idiosyncratic to say the least - I hope you enjoy copious nudity, of the masculine variety!
Kl beans, hope to see you next year, let me know if you have any further questions, and enjoy Q Beattie!! :D

Aber is fab. You'll have a great time.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand - chocolate covered strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'Woohoo - What a Ride!

Re: wales uotc
word of advice - do not, under any circemstances, ever, steal Q Beattie's beret. he's the big bloke with glasses. very bad plan, involves death
but, otherwise, enjoy the weirdness of Aber! you'll have plenty of fun, knowing Aber girls..."Platoon runner? Nah, its an easy job unless the comms break down..."
"We've lost contact with 2 section... Runner!"
