Do tell me why I would spend my summer in a godforsaken desert, hanging out with nawkers like you, eating s***, working long hours every day... when I could spend my summer living in an air conditioned crew truck, with people that aren't complete plonkers, drinking fine beers and eating freshly made food as per ordered, having to only work 8 hours a day, and get paid hourly what you get paid daily?
Why would I do that? Why?
Oh yeah... I wouldn't.
You disgust me, at least I was always willing to go.
You should go because you singed on the bloody line to, you freaking walt mongtard.

Because it's the right thing to do? Because thousands of TA soldiers and regular reservists have deployed out of a sense of obligation to their muckers? Because the regular forces out there desperately need your support? Because one day when all your comrades are pulling up a sandbag about their time in Iraq or Afghanistan you'll be staring into your beer uncomfortably?

But in that time, I got my job, having trained a long time for it, and as things stand going on Ops is not something that suits my way of life.
However I do not leave as one day the time may return where I feel being mobilised is the right thing for me and I shall go forth and do it.
So stop trying to criticse me, and go and ask yourself why some stupid-ass stab is earning more than you by doing less work.
I bet you tell the kiddies about your leg as a war story my friend.
and as ANOTHER observation you do seem to be changing bits of your story as the thread has gone on for example things being added and/or slightly changed. As before you seemed to be a highly experienced signaller and an AI but now it seems your just a student who likes better food and people to think he is something he is not.
