Warner Bros original Looney Tunes, Termite Terrace 1930 - 1969. Budget $50,000 for each cartoon, and 125 people over nine months to make one full animation cartoon. Every frame hand drawn, animations were made to the voices. Like most things, the cartoons and their humour suffered under the 1970's PC brigade's scissors.

Also comedy, I remember a couple of things on telly from the early seventies - three yorkshiremen on a fishing trip to Bridlington, then a canal trip finishing up behind the theatre at Stratford on Avon. Very funny, emptying the elsan from the canal boat sticks in the memory - "inch from the top so you don't spill it on your boots".

I think that solo one turned up, 10 minutes late, and 5 seconds after you lit a fag

You can still watch World of Sport on Men & Movies, channel 185 on Sky.

I just found an old Premium Bond bought for me and dated by the Post Office ink stamp Oct 1968.

Looked it up on ERNIE and its so old the number won't be accepted, will have to write to them...
George Kidd was great to watch - for sheer agility, he was the best! His trick of rolling himself into a ball always cracked me up.

Another name from back then just came to mind - Rollerball Rocco ...
