    From our Sect Comd:

    Don't fold your arms...

If you fold your arms you'll grow tits - and if you grow tits I'll shag you.

Same one here, along with "if you put your hands on your hips you'll get hips like a woman & if you do I'll shag you..."
ARRSE - Not as funny as it used to be since 2003.

There's only two reason you'll end up in the shit, doing something when you should have been doing nothing; do nothing when you should have been doing something.

To keep going will be painful, to stop will be agony!

Better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

    "Don't."

Best piece of advice I was ever given. I wish I'd listened.
We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.

In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

Not exactly advice but something that created a mental picture that's never left me!

    Don't be clever.

Sgt addressing a squad of recruits. 'You lot, - What's the capital of the Republic of Ireland?'

A few mumbles, then someone says 'Dublin Sarn't'

'That's right. And since you're late on parade, I want you 'dublin' over to the armoury - GO!

    Cpl S** Mc*****, Bassingbourne.

Delivered in a thick Jock accent, while his mouth contained an (ever present) roll up:

    "Trust naeee cunt"

    He was right.
"Stand down, at ease... you're not in the Army anymore."
