    Our Troopie used to come on piss with us on tour in Cyprus, on first name terms incase it put the fillies off.

    Not sure whether you're taking the piss, but my brother in law got commissioned when I was still serving. If I ever came across him there would be no question - I'd call him sir and salute. He was a commissioned officer simples. Back at his gaff or mine, then it's back to the normal abuse and piss taking.

    It's all about being grown up about it IMHO.
