    Sadly I have had a mixed experience of LE's but generally they forget they were ever a soldier and s*** on the lads whilst pretending they are the only ones who really care about them.

    My first thought on reading this was "hmm...bit chippy?". Then I thought again and actually that statement is uncomfortably truer than it is comfortably untrue! Bloody generalisations, don't you hate it when they come true!
    I'm not sure which is worse - forgetting how you got to where you are, or micromanaging as an LE Officer. Both hugely tedious for the men.

    Plus trying to act as the SNCO when there is a perfectly adequate one under you trying to do the same...
