Mobile phone scam
I've just had a text message offering me a week of free texts if I send a text quoting "START" to a 88xxxx number - is this a premium rate scam ?

working on the basis if its to good to be true it unusually is... there is no such thing as free!

It's probably a scam! Try googling the message, although if it is a scam, they have probably also stitched up Google!

There's loads of these scams going around, I guess you're right as there was no reference to my service provider or any personal info i.e. my name included in the message.
