Scooters are cool unless you are a 16 year old chav tearing around with your delinquent mates.
Actually, the Birdcage 75th was designed by Ken Okuyama, working for Pininfarina, in 2005, nearly 40 years after the original pinin died, Andrea was the grandson and CEO, his dad is a something in Italian polotics now.
The Tipo 61 " Birdcage" series was designed by Giulio Alfieri.
Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away. But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best.
I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself; I’m having that.
He was Italian so he can (could) get away with cutting about on a Lambretta, with no helmet shaoit "ciao" at everone. Its cool when the Whops do it, but less so when its some 16yo chav mong revving his two-stroke engine out side my office window all day.

ok old boy I'll stop - you should have said. dreadfully sorry and all that.
scooters don't quite work in this country. I'd like them to as they are brilliant fiun to ride. Had a blue Vespa in London and had a ball on it - just a grind on longer rides. Still have the urge to get a scooter or m'bike again. In Britain we should have developed our own version by now. Perhaps with a roof like that BMW that came out.
