Discuss I found out how they got Maddies out at the The NAAFI Bar forum within the The Army Rumour Service website; Ever thought that the lanes had been filter down? looks like it to me and ...
There is a car roughly 5 meters in front of him in the fast lane. But we don't know if it is moving or not. Or is he supposed to pull out and shunt him? The brake lights of the truck in front aren't visible but could well be on. Or even his hazards.
Likewise, depending on the veh he may NOT be allowed in to the fast lane to overtake.
Less of the Miss Marple from a picture that shows near Fcuk All detail.
(PS I don't agree with speeding, driving without undue care (photos or mobile phones) or drink/drugged driving).

Pay attention in class. Read the whole thread again and you might understand what im saying.
If he was driving and doing the old David Bailey, then wouldn't the angle of the photo be different as his car would be sliding across the road towards the barrier
Bossdog, read the whole thread. And re-read the important bits, ie what was said by the driver (not people who weren't there) and relooked at the phot.
All I see is a truck, possibly at a standstill, which someone has taken a picture of the rear end. In the fast lane there is a silver car, velocity undertermined, which doesn't have enough space for another vehicle pull out behind safely in anycase.
By the angle of the shot, it appears the photo was taken from another high vehicle, that may not be allowed in the fast lane.

The driver says his handbrake was on. End of.
You read it how many times? :D
I just fancied winding someone up cos i'm bored. cHeers though.
Nice pic btw mac. Although my g/f has me in her bad books for thinking its funny.
Then why has the lane on your right (the fast lane ) got no traffic in it if its a traffic jam? For you to know what the accident was and also take time to take a picture you must have been there for a while. Yet no traffic next to you. Methinks you were failing to be in control of a motor vehicle.
I love it when people have an opinion on the internet, and are determined to be the authority on what occurred even though the original poster was actually present, not them.
As to my bold, i'd say that if the traffic was moving, mac would have to have been in full and complete control of his vehicle to tailgate that close. :D Even in traffic jams it isn't always nose-to-tail, because some people can't be bothered to close up a gap of a few metres only to stop again. Especially if the clutch is already cooked.
