Slightly off topic, but...
When I went to get my cat from a rescue home in London, there was a little yapping dog in the next cage that wouldn't stop licking itself. When I asked someone why, they said you would too if in mid-sex the owner of the dog had forcibly separated you, as the male had 'knotted' whilst inside and pulled all her ladybits inside out, which then had to be sliced off.
