Usually, If there were armed troops on the streets of London they would be there "In support of the Civil Power"

One would expect that there would be an officer or sarge in command of the troops, so in the first instance the unit commander could be expected to take action to stop the badly behaving soldier.

No one ever offers a chap a decent serving of curried eggs at a BBQ anymore...
