Apparently these accurate and picturesque terms are not considered PC. A friend was offered dismissal by his council or, as he was in a certain age group (I kid you not) some racial awareness therapy. Our hero"Flashy" would not say "zounds", probably never even heard of the word. It`s a shortened version of a medieval curse, "Gods wounds". It should be pronounced "zoonds"
