I remember 4 of us going around Jacky Jacky creek up the top in a 12`tinnie (tin boat) , looking at the croc tracks and even seeing some little ones swimming , had the missus with me , she was having a coronary ,I told her not to worry as I`d got a rifle ,in hindsight it would not have been much use if the boat capsized , looking back we must have been crackers!

Also remember being in Seisha ,QLD and watching the kids diving off the jetty , then noticed a memorial plaque for a kid eaten by a croc the year before!
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Crocs. No bother. Throw your shoe at them and they bugger off at a remarkable speed.

    It's these things I can't stand.

I met a former Rhodesian soldier whose face looked like it had festered completely off. After vomiting all over his shoes, I asked him what had done such a thing. "Ahh was bittin ba a violin spider".

Nothing to add really. Just wanted to waste space by quoting in full what I have nothing to say anything about.

No, they won't. It would be eaten before the journey is 1/2-way through.

The dreaded Steinway. The septics in Iraq were fascinated by them.
