And at least mummy Middleton is honest about her social climbing, playing the 'do you know who I am' card whenever she dines at the local Harvester.

Euan reminds me of the pogoing Heather Mills, who managed to get a job on Panorama after submitting a CV that included cuttings written by a different Heather Mills, who was a hack at the Independent at the time. She now works for P Eye.

Panorama's investigative skills were such that they didn't spot the fraud. Or perhaps they did spot it but kept schtum in return for freebie tickets to watch Macca rape another Gibson at a pop concert.

I can sort of see both sides of the coin, working at a school bursting with the offspring of 'mothers who lunch' I get to see a large number of kids who would benefit from being told to walk the half mile to school or to do their own homework. A generation of kids who expect everything to be done for them on their own terms is not a good thing. On the other hand I've seen far too many cases where parents ignore their kids and it goes horribly wrong.

On the other hand I don't have kids so what do I know? Other than the fact that CB is hardly in a position to commment and it was a slow news day not much!
