I'm only responsible for what I say...not what you understand.

From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." I must say you have an eye for color! Quite snappy and in keeping with our otherwise marsh.....erm, martial appearance. My only quibble, and it is only that mind you, is that for ops we may want to consider something a bit less noisy on the pavements. Please check with the Procurement Officer (if we have one yet) and form a committee to study this conundrum of looking spiffy while at the same time not getting killed.

(Sighing) My dear chap, how many times must we go through this? Once a Legionnaire ALWAYS a Legionnaire. If you persist in this anti-social behavior I will have no choice but to send in the Persuader Platoon*. Accordingly, I look forward to receiving your cheery report of having already done so and that you are back doing whatever it is you are supposed to do in the Legion.
*This is the Platoon Sergeant:

My dear fellow and Ostrava Det. person---I cannot be bothered with such trifles. Please follow the chain of command which in this instance begins with the CSM and ends with the Lubrication Officer.*
*By Copy of this Directive I instruct Baron etc, etc. Blue Sophist to ensure we have a Lubrication Officer with appropriate staff and funding for so important a function."A democracy cannot survive as a permanent form of government.
