The same could be said for many others, who posted once on this Thread and then found themselves in possession of the AFL Bauble.

In defence of Ruckerthiing, I believe it's National Bake Cookies Day. Or Veterans for Burgers. Or something to do with golf, as usual.

The US Chess Federation has a long weekend event in Las Vegas - perhaps that's it?

Well done, caporal … you may even get paid at the end of the month.

All in the fullness of time.
"A democracy cannot survive as a permanent form of government. It can last only until its citizens discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." Lord Thomas MacCauley 1857

Yes, absolutely. Probably - or July. Waiting to see the results of the Greek elections, then your Finance team will be making a few adjustments to the investment portfolio. Or not. Difficult decisions.

Don't fret, "Betty" takes promissory notes. And washing machine tokens.

I am a bit disappointed in all this talk of pay. Every day I arise I say to my batwoman what a glorious day to be in the Legion and think I should be paying the Legion for the honor of serving. Accordingly, the following will be published at morning orders:

"ASK NOT WHAT THE LEGION CAN DO FOR YOU BUT ASK WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR THE LEGION!"

It is a mercenary world ... In both contexts!

BTW, about your promotion, so richly deserved ... do you have a view yet?
