Well I can say that with out a doubt it is the worst beer I have ever tasted or not, because it had no taste. My wife described it as watered down lager, I would say it resembled something more like watered down piss. So my recommedation is Dont fucking bother it's crap!!
Wierdly, most people I know prefer Cobra to Kingfisher, as do I, and in some Resturants there's not much choice anyway.

I say Cobra is more like lager without the bubbles but I only drink it if having dinner in an Indian Resturant, not sure that I would drink if it it was on tap in the boozer. Maybe that Turkish Beer, EFES or Stella would work better?

But is it only lager than goes with a Curry?....can't see bitter or Guiness reacting too well....but WTF do I know?

What your usual pint then Martok?...don't say Fosters, not after slagging off Cobra.

Have to admit, not one I have tried. Will have a look out for it in one of the Polish shops that seem to springing up everywhere. Found some rather nice Mead made in Norfolk at one of the local farm shops near here.

Nothing wrong with that! Better than drinking flipping warm beer!

Back in UK for a short trip. Went to Tesco today and spotted Sierra Nevada IPA being sold as a US import. At £1.84 a bottle it is about equivalent to US supermarket prices. Which is nice.

The Trafalgar in Collier's Wood always does nice ales, I usually go for the Market Ale. Landlady recently told me I could have a Naked Lady instead, asked if she had a naked man for me but she said no, so I had what was offered in the first place. It was a very nice pint from the Twickenham brewery.

To give the place a well recommended plug to anyone who might find themselves in the area and feeling thirsty, it recently won SW London CAMRA pub of the year. Check out details at www.thetraf.com

What am I drinking? Nowhere near enough.
    Fred Astaire ate my hamper!

Serving it too cold is a way of disguising the taste which is why HEKWAP in Banja Napa tasted fine until it warmed up & why I had to drink it so quickly so it didn't.
To eat well in England one must have breakfast three times a day
