Competitions and prizes...
I rarely, if ever, win stuff yet I get bombarded by "Win a trip to the Moon" or "Enjoy a night with Jarrod" so I've decided to post/distribute stuff that comes into my inbox.

I get those winning notifications by phone e.g. "Congratulations. You have won a two week holiday in Upper Mongolia blah blah blah" to which I normally reply "Ooh thank you. Send it to me at my address, thanks" then I hang up.
I used to lead retreats, mate!

Knowing my luck I'd win a pair jimmy choos, a bicycle or a trekking holiday.
I've never met anyone who wins these prizes either.

I've won £120 on the Premium Bonds, a fiver here and there on the Notional Lottery and that's about it. I don't go near phone call prizes. They only cost £3.50 a minute etc.
I'll only post what I believe are genuine comps like the one above from the Dave Tv channel, Welcome to Switzerland etc.- Si dubitas, fuge.

Won the Army Sports Lottery once and got another £300 from it this year. Apart from that ziltch.

Won an all expenses paid holiday to China for 7 days, with Panasonic. Basically took a photo of a boat on a loch and then you had to get people to vote for it. I asked the Arrse massive to vote and they did in their hundreds - thankyou. Stayed in a 5 star hotel, free alcohol and free escorted trips to all the sites. Also got 3 digital cameras.
Also won a TomTom sat nav once on aviva insurance website and another in senior rates christmas draw!

On a Hot morning in cyprus I found the meaning of anger. Fortunataly I was comftably numb.
The RSM and various other NCO's seemed very agitated.
maybe they should look into counselling?
