Chemo puts the person into remission after a few month they have more chemo and so on until they die because cancer builds up a multi drug resistance to it and spreads. With pdt it can't and the same with ultrasound and other treatments. Chemo has never cured cancer, even if you live longer than 5 years the cancer one day maybe found in another part of your body.
