    nice editing

his t shirt and trousers arent issued kit are they, this call came in and caught them on the bounce I reckon.

Its fkin pathetic for people on here who should know better, decrying people for wearing the decent kit that works.

People would (rightly) foam at the gob and whine like fuck if soldiers werent given the right kit to do their job, the same applies here.

Its about giving people the right kit to get the job done and protect them in the process.

As for those saying that the HSAW Act being applied to police was wrong as the protective kit 'looks too paramilitary' well they can fuck off and their opinion is invalid

We were, but then they took away our proper rifles.

If you think that someone saying that the need for Police Officers to dress as they do these, even for operational reasons, is part of a fundamental change in our attitudes to the Police and not a particularly welcome development should fuck off because that opinion is invalid then you are a truly arrogant piece of work. If you are a Police Officer then I think you might have rather made our point for us, too.

    Well here's my point.

Apparently the met has been told no union flag patches/pins for the olympics except "special corporate ones" or whatever.

So, what has this lad got? Subdued Union flag patch.

Don't get me wrong; I think there should be a flag on the arm.

But one of the points I am driving at is that there is a "one rule for them, one rule for us" and borough gets shafted constantly by the petty DPS, and yet "special" people can run around in whatever they like with immuinity (we'll leave aside my opinions about likely outcomes of use of force, see posts passim). Mmmmm.

A fish rots from the head down, and all that.

Vaguely, and yes it is a good film. Good blokes as well the Delta snipers, knowing they were even more than likely to go. CMoH's well deserved imho. I'll have to watch it again, just to make sure you know
I'm thinking about putting that on too. Fair play to those Delta gentleman, virtually suicide but they still went to protect a mate.
