Like most law abiding citizens I don't expect to be shown one and therefore couldn't be bothered to know what it looks like.
I still maintain if someone Photoshopped one, had a police uniform on and acted imperious, arrogant and rude, it would fool most people they were talking to a copper. And if in an apparent bad mood, most people will not want to get in the way.
So, when challenged by someone apparently in authority, Joe & Jane Civilian usually capitulate; something people like Breivik were counting on.

Sorry mate, I was referring to this bit:
Now, I am sure they know this but in court they would have this read to them;Their plan is to let rip with the MP5 until it stops firing then throw it over their shoulder attached to a length of webbing, whip out the pistol and carry on.
Criminal Law Act 1967 s3 (1)"A person may use such force as is reasonable in the circumstances in the prevention of crime, or in effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders or of persons unlawfully at large."
I don't think it would take too clever a barrister to make it look like unreasonable emptying a magazine into someone, throwing your firearm over your shoulder and continuing to engage with a Glock (that's be what, 47 rounds?)
But since, as I have cynically suggested, there is no real prospect of them being held accountable in court, it's a moot point. "Normal" officers can have their use of CS, Taser, Baton or open-handed picked over for years but let's not inconvenience "they who must not be named but look ally".
Well I dare say you don't expect to be attacked by a heavily armed right wing manic; but you've taken the trouble to read his manifesto....Like most law abiding citizens I don't expect to be shown one and therefore couldn't be bothered to know what it looks like
Anyway, IndependentBoffin you playing on the Devil's Information Superhighway on a Sunday? You'll be down in hell with the rest of us at this rate.

Obviously a lot of thought gone into his ensemble. Short sleeves so no arm/elbow protection.
What look to be comercially bought zip leg walking trousers. They must be really comfy when taking a kneeling position, not to mention probably made of some man made material that melts and sticks if subjected to flame.

I thought it was 17 times the fella got hit? Just been on a course where ROE was focused on a lot, they used 17 times as the example, and the reason given by the chaps was that they thought the guy had a detonator in his hand and had to be absolutely sure that he wouldn't twitch. Worked for them!

Sir Walter Raleigh declared in the early 17th century that "whoever commands the sea, commands the trade; whosoever commands the trade of the world commands the riches of the world, and consequently the world itself." This principle is as true today as when uttered, and its effect will continue as long as ships traverse the seas."
