P-P such a pity O/Cdts have to work hard - in my day it was two years of very gentle stuff - a few drill parades, a little play in the countryside and lots of free time. Sigh! But of course in those days we were gentlemen, not players.

ARRSE already has various spies within the hallowed walls of Sandhurst.
I'm sure there'll be a few copies there soon enough

I say send a copy to the Armstrong and Miller show, the Lynx pilots would be a great update for their chavvy Spitfire pilots!

Sent from my Blackberry 9800 using Crapatalk and a head dobber
Death may be certain, but comms aren't.

For those of you who pre-ordered but have not yet ordered the book through our web site: if you do not order through the web site you won't get the book - the pre-orders don't give us the information we need to charge for and deliver your copy - so please don't forget to put a formal order in - and email us with dedication if this is pre-booked too! The dedication list is now closed, although you will be able to get a dedication in your copy if you come to the book signing at Chesterfield Public Library on 9 June at or after 1 p.m.
Digital extraction required asap - we are getting closer to D-Day (delivery day) and then my office is going to either be full of unsold books or just me with a frown, ordering the next print run.

When are you getting AS to write all these dedications? Are you going to moderate his sauce intake so he can still hold a pen at the end, or allow him to go off piste after the first pint of meths? I believe the next book should be around a sapper and his dog working out how to post a link on facebook - at least 300 pages worth of effort and swearing going by last night's entries - I bet it was the dog that clocked it first.
It takes 3 years to build a ship, but 300 years to build a reputation - Admiral Cunningham 1940 ish

He will be spending Sunday 10 June penning the dedications - sans booze, but with banjos. As far as the facebook link is concerned I sympathise with him - I think you need to be under 30 (and preferably under 15) to understand FB and all its little foibles!

I was going to retort "speak for yourself, I'm 4x..." but why tempt Murphy.

By the way, these POSH copies (posh, eh, trend started by stumpy here) will be numbered 1/xx won't they? Hint hint can I have 1/xx the very first one?

Stop whinging you lot, don't ask don't get and all that.
There is no question so obviously stupid that it prevents one supposedly intelligent human from asking it of another.

Likewise, there is no human problem that cannot be solved by the correct application of the appropriate quantity of high explosive, the suitable quantity being derived by the Formula P, where P = "plenty"

Nobody ever imagined a bunch of Orcs would steal a database table...

They will be numbered but no, Copy 1 is retained here as the source copy for future reprints. Copies will be numbered in the order in which your order was received, so the quicker your ordering the lower the number will be.

Toffewrapper - go to our web site at MLRS Books Limited: Reprints of military history source materials, especially from World War II and click on the book picture - follow the instructions to order the book and enter details required - then email me at sales@mlrsbooks.co.uk and confirm you want a signed copy (and include dedication if you want one - not more than 12 words) - that's all
