Half way through the book and my prostate has given up, it having been on constant call to assist in helping me piss myself with laughter.

Woman has threatened to divorce me again* but she'll have to wait her turn with THE book.

    Excellent stuff.

*long story-not one for the kids-we've both had an 'amazing journey', etc, etc.

About 30 mins until I get a phone call to say if the book has arrived..... If a) someone in the office gets off their arse and collects the post from the post room, b) they actually phone me to confirm its arrival as requested, and c) it has actually got here at all.

This is worse than any Op Tour! My nerves can't hack the suspense much longer!

I am up for that. We can tell the tales of how you provided excellent search cover for when we made the last operational parachute drop (Sierra Leone for those who don't know).

We can also regale the stories of the parades and piss ups when the Big 3 were officially formed.

We mustn't forget the long hard hours guarding EFFIs either, or that time "someone" heard a Rock from ll Sqn refer to his unit as 2 Para.

It will be an honour to write with you.

It's ARRIVED! I have copy 28/100 and am trying to bypass any work in order to read some!

Well done all involved in the packaging and posting, and even Mr BFPO isn't as bad as I seem to have made out..... Just slow is all. Now leave me alone to read!

Well there you go. Isn't it wonderful how things just work out fine. If that book had arrived Friday/Saturday then you would have used your free time to read the book over the weekend. Now you can read it during work time and everyone will be

a: jealous cos they did not order a copy
b: wondering why you are sitting quivering like a sunken wreck with laughter

p.s. Don't leave the book lying around - it will disappear!
