This one is only clingy with me because he's so timid of other people.

Mine was fairly protective of the kids and, while he'd fuck off at the drop of a hat, he didn't go to other people. Maybe that was the tiny bit of GSD coming out in him - some semblance of loyalty.

The last one I'd to consider his escape routes constantly, even when considering how car doors opened. All door handles had to be changed to knobs or he'd be gone. I locked him in the kitchen one new year, went out on the piss when I'd got back he'd tunnelled through the door, helped himself into the bedroom and ripped the quilt apart. At one point he tunnelled through the divan. This one dug up the concrete dining room floor, ate the carpet, two chairs, skirting board and a cocktail cabinet.

Neglect to block the front door as you opened it and he was gone. Chewed furniture everywhere and spring closers on all the doors (causing trapped fingers for the kiddies). Shame, really. Big bugger, too.



Somewhere around 5 - 6 months here. You'll have to imagine him siting upright to get the size, as I never got a "normal" pic of him. He was OK at this age.
