Somerset Maugham
London: its "buzz" and "vibrancy"... can be codewords for drugs, late-night noise and multi-culturalism run (literally) riot.

Watched 8 episodes and realised that it was getting really tedious and his relationship with the CIA girl increasingly far fetched. Also a complete lack of medical care given to someone is his position is a minor irritation in the story line as is the bizarre interaction with his marine mates, particularly about wife's affair. And how on earth does the CIA girl still have a job. In fact it's amazing the CIA does anything at all. And, and and..... Didn't bother with the 9th episode.

I like the way he gets his bird to kneel there in the buff whilst he spaffs on her.
Good egg.

I know she's a bit skinny, but I would rattle Ms Danes silly given the opportunity. If she was interested in a middle aged slightly porky balding bloke that is.
Sent from my iPhone using ARRSE so I should probably be working....

I know its only a tv programme but 8 years in captivity and then gets investigated when he comes back to america, insulting i would say so i didnt watch it any more because things like that can happen in real life.

to be fair the suspicion is reasonably well justified and not a part of the plot I take issue with. The start point of and I'm sure high profile figures have attracted the attention of security services for far less. The concern over him is sound, although the one-woman-on-a-mission part is pretty far fetched.

It's not insulting. I've just read through your latest posts and I've come to the conclusion that you're a bit of a penis.

Not really. A young, keen, analyst that's made a big error in the past is making sure it doesn't happen again. Have you never had that niggling feeling that something isn't right despite everyone else not seeing your point so you go out of your way to prove you're right?
