Your First Car
2006 BMW x5 black with cream interior after my insurance payout from being blown up by 19reg artillery YOU SCOTTISH BASTARDS!
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.

I think its fair to say that we, as a collective, have been the proud owners of, what can only be described, as some serious shit boxes.
This is the same as my first car, mine has long since bitten the dust but the reg was VOO 42W.
It was absolute gash, my dad bought it for me for £400.
I kept it 2 years, it was fun, mainly because I didn't know any better and my dad wouldn't let me anywhere near his pride and joy, a sapphire Cosworth.
The fiesta had a 1.1 litre engine and if you went anywhere near 70mph the keep fit windows would roll themselves down cos of the vibrations.
Eventually upgraded to a much more civilised escort xr3 in bright orange with italic "escort" written up the sides.A computer once beat me at chess, but was no match for me at kickboxing.

My mate had one of those, only his had a 950cc engine and was ALL beige!
I remember lording it over him with my 205, with all of its luxuries; items such as an n/s wing mirror, reversing light, parcel shelf and heated rear windscreen.Roy Durrands dry-bums leprechauns. FACT.

Apart from a Morris 1000 who's ownership was debatable, (every squad passing out of training seemed to have held the keys at some time) and a few Green Minis (painted various primary colours) and Land Rovers my first own car was a Sunbeam Vogue.
You've done your bit Hooky, out you go.
