Yep, that's ROP'S. Plus if you had learnt well in your youth, you would know that in an emergency of not being able to buy a pair of twisters from the NAAFI, because you're a mong and didn't have a spare pair or two, you should tuck your lightweights / combats in to the extra part of your laces that are wrapped around the top of your boots.

Did you have to show behind the night guard as well, or just 22.00hrs to piss on your chips?

I get picked up for shit all the time and come back with some right cockish comments - fortunately for me I am beyond re-ejermercation now and people just seem to put up with me because I'm old and probably not worth the ink on the paperwork, plus I'll probably have a heart attack walking up the stairs to the bosses office! (Bet I get AGAI'd tomorrow now!)

The main question is; Do they work? (The AGAI system not twisters!) What's wrong with just fucking someone about unofficially so they don't know what's coming or just giving someone a quick whack in the bollocks?

Anyone who outranks you can AGAI you (ie, as a Full Screw I can AGAI a Siggy for being late for parade and give him a show parade/works detail to teach him the error of his ways). For minor sanctions it's not the full getting into your twos and marching into the CO's office job it's just a form which is filled out and signed by the punisher, the punishee and the Sgt Major or similar figure. For major sanctions you've obviously badly fucked up so it does come down to senior officers to give the punishments out like it always did.

It's not a replacement for Courts Martial proceedings, it's just a new way of doing in-unit punishments.

Yeah the punishments haven't changed, it's just formalised now so the RSM can't just roll the dice for how many extras you're getting. It also helps the unit keep track officially of who the wankers are - if you're in the Sgt Major's AGAI folder fifteen times in six months for being late for work and still pissed from the night before you've got no legal way of saying it's all lies when you're put on a three month bender for being a dickhead.
