All US shows, mostly from HBO and most from the same writers / producers.
I agree with you (apart from NCIS, which appears to be the work of mongs) but it just goes to show that the septics have become the masters of TV drama now. The Brits produce light 'entertainment' drivel and that's about it.
All our writers and half our actors have gone over to The Great Satan.
Just watching Frasier, as it goes. Very well written. What do we have? Gavin and Stacey.

Totally agree why can't we make something about Brit troops like Band of Brothers or The Pacific instead of paying Brucie et al huge wages to basically tell jokes that are not funny and prance about like alot of tits.

Agree with Dexter and Six Foot Under. New series of Dexter starts at the end of this month on FX. Used to love NCIS as well, but has been spoiled in my opinion by annoying over-acting from the Pirette character.
American shows have so much more quality and excellent scripts. What about the excellent Homeland, currently showing on Channel 4? Morena Baccarin (the dark haired one) has her chebs out on a regular basis. It doesn't add to the plot, but makes for cracking TV! What's not to like?Last edited by slipperman; 08-03-2012 at 19:33.
