OK, can anyone tell me what the difference is between these Super Duper SF rank slides and normal ones?

Well the limited interaction I've had with Hereford chaps, they do indeed have their own style of chevron, exactly as depicted in the link. They're thicker/deeper, giving the illusion of being less wide. I've seen them on R SIGNALS and RLC blokes. They also wore them on each shoulder on woolly pullies which will be why there are two of them.

All in all, the genuine article, it seems to me. But the bigger question is WTF is somebody other than an RLC Sgt attached to Hereford going to do with them?
