I agree there appears to be a bit of a Gary Glitter style interest in cadets, this is the sort of cnut that shouts at you when you drive the wrong way around the supermarket car park.

Was that a future King of ours perhaps? :D
Crabs, showing off to women in expensive cabs since 1918 (Ironically established on 1 April. Seems no one has got that its an ongoing April Fools prank)

And his interest in the names of Captains of HMS Victory and Britannia are most spotterish!

"Six charges of disgraceful conduct of an indecent kind "
What exactly does that cover?
Doing elephant impressions at a mess dinner?
When officers are jailed, do they get sent to Colchester like ratings or do they get to share a cell with Bubba in a civvy prison.
The 1 case I know of did indeed go to Colchester. All sorts of unpleasantness including attempting to blackmail subordinates into sexual activity. Other elements never made Court, including buggery of a subbie. A deeply unpleasant character - and even more amazing, his wife would believe none of it and stood by the shite.
I know the "RM Maj" from 2004 drunk on board and the citation doesn't do it justice. Think outnumbered Bootnecks, Navy Wardroom, Trafalgar Night (not Corps Birthday) and an RM template mistakenly applied to an RN run-ashore.
Nudity (but Mess Dress neatly folded - taught well by first Tp Sgt evidently).

If the officer is sentenced to detention then he would do his time at MCTC and be discharged from there. If he was sentenced to imprisonment then he would immediately be dismissed and would be sent to civvy nick straight away.
When I was at MCTC we had one SUS who had his sentence changed on promulgation from imprisonment to detention so he was brought from civvy nick, re-kitted out with uniform and had to do his time at MCTC before dismissal. He was not a happy bunny as he had got settled into civvy nick and thought it a doddle. He staged a one-man riot when he arrived at MCTC and started smashing his Nissen Hut up. As the medic I was sent in to calm him and treat his cut hands where he'd smashed the window. Bricking it doesn't quite cover it, he was a big lad! Fortunately he was also a reasonable lad and wasn't hungry enough to eat a whole medic.
