It'd have been fantastic! Not only the first anal sex seen portrayed in mainstream cinema, but a dry-bumming at that.

    Re: Ban Butter

Bacon buttie doesnt need butter. Just tomato or brown sauce (or wholegrain french mustard!)

Try it and see what I mean.

I think this is a good idea. You don't need butter 'to taste'

Use butter only where there is no other substitute or as a luxury.

What about banning Burger King from my local General Hospital foyer before banning butter?

Interesting, if correct, the comment in response to the article in the original link to who this so called expert is associated.

A bacon banjo always tastes better without butter and with a good squirt of HP Sauce.

What drivel of course you need butter on a bacon sarnie. I don't like tomato or brown sauce so i'll stick with butter.

DigitalGeek, that clip as your signature block is one of the most deeply disturbing things I have seen on this site. For reasons I can't explain it makes me think of Gordon Brown's infamous youtube clip.

Spreads make your toast soggy, having worked in a margarine factory for 10 years I can confirm that most spreads (margarine now an obsolete word apparently) are 89%water the rest are addatives. What would happen to the dairy industry with no butter? If this Indian doctor wants to ban anything it should be smoking but he probably smokes. I believe in freedom of choice, if you want to eat butter eat it. In the long run the more people die the less pension will be used. I am going for the heart attack sod having a stroke

    Re: Ban Butter

I work for the NHS as a Catering Manager for a Mental Health Trust.

The "do gooders" are trying to ban butter throughtout our trust, as most of my customers are older people with Mental Health Problems I argue that they should be allowed a choice.

We have patients who have not fed themselves properly for various reasons and so we make soups with added butter and wholemilk to give them calories.

The problem with butter is not the fat it is the type of fat (saturated), the fat bastards out there would still layer their butties, toast and crumpets with a vegetable spread which has just as much fat.

Which has most saturated fat out of these?

    Lard (Animal)

    Palm Oil (Plant)

    Walnut Oil (plant)

    Butter (Animal)

    Coconut Oil (Plant)

    Suet (Animal)

    Rapeseed Oil (Plant)

The really big thing that needs to be banned is Trans unsaturated Fats (Transfats) a product of hydrogenation, (turning liquid fat into solid fat). Do not buy products with hydrogenated fat in the ingredients.
