Not sure you can claim to be civilised if anti whaling is all you care about. What about the Japs who need to do their ahem research, they are civilised just because they live somewhere else and eat different food doesnt make them savages!

Whaling, along with seal clubbing, fox hunting, badger baiting and elephant hunting are all fair game as far as i am concerned.
