Re: Grandad would be so proud.
I don't give a flying fuck about the Japs. Just can't abide whalers and would be delighted to see them all die horrible deaths, and that includes any from any other country that indulges in it for selfish reasons.

I didn't say it was your fucking fault, I said I was blaming you.

Quite understandable, hippies aren't famous for sea-food or Taffs for inventing martial arts. We could learn a lot from our grandparents.

Re: Grandad would be so proud.
my grandfather loathed and despised the Japs with an intensity that can only be borne from building a sodding railway for three years and seeing most of your friends murdered. Now they'll still eat anything that swims and happily break most international conventions while doing it. Bastards. Go Hippies. Hope they get a bigger bat boat and sink the swine.

Dry your eyes princess, I don't find this amusing at all, well not compared to when I see you colonial cnuts go up in flames every few months in a good old bush fire.

Nah, fewer people would pay to harpoon a whale.

In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

Why doesn't the Aussie government do something about the whaling then. Probably cos they like the Japanese too much. Oh and its a kiwi boat.
As for the protesters - regardless of whether you believe in the cause or not - what the are doing (trying to foul screws, boarding the whaling ships etc) is little short of piracy and I think they deserve anything they get.[/quote]

I'm not saying that its ok to hunt the whales just that the greenies are going the wrong way about it. I'm pretty sure if the Jappas wanted to, they can play pretty rough (and be protected by maritime law) against anyone who fucks with them at sea.

Except for the fact that the 'hippies' probably paid more attention in school than you did.

Erm, it's the Chinese that eat monkey brains, not the Japanese.

Re: Grandad would be so proud.
Are the Sea Shepherd lot complaining about their boat being rammed? Pot, kettle, etc..
I'm with the tree huggers on this one.Peccavi.
Tried like a good 'un, did it all wrong. Thought that the hard way was taking too long.
Too late for regret or chemical change. Yesterday's targets have gone out of range.

Well your Navy should sort them out then, not a bunch of Batman walts.

Personally I think the Atlantic Cod is the most magnificent creature in the ocean, it tirelessly struggles to reproduce in order to create more of its own to be killed and deep fried for our friday night feast
