Re: Selling my Medals
If hers is a silver I`d bet we`d get more for a full set.

Stupid question time: Are the Chichester Marches still held? If not, I reckon we'd get more for rarity value!

I have an Iron Cross. Didn't earn it. Bought it.

Re: Selling my Medals
Yep, so have I. Did you know most of 'em are fakes and it's near enough impossible to tell from the real ones?

And what about you, stacker?

If there was a chance once I got out that I could make a 5-zero sum from them when I got out, I'd seriously consider it.
When I leave, I'll most likely never wear them again, even on Remembrance day. I plan to frame them along with my Great Grandands WW1 medals. If someone wants to pay me big bucks for my originals, I'd consider it. I still have the photographs to remind me what I did. And the memories of the hangovers.
But, like I said, I'm a REMF and don't have a medal group that attracts the big money to collectors.Pork Eating Crusader

Re: Selling my Medals
I didn't know that. I bought mine from a medal dealer geeky bloke who assured me of it's authenticity. However he could have been talking shiite as far as I know.

Absolutely certain. As a young innocent QA I entered the grounds of Rousillon Bks with some shyness and trepidation and having just a couple of quid on me took some badgering from my mate to attend the pre-March BBQ for a swift half-pint of cider. I think I made it back to my own cot around 3.30am, at some point rolled over and threw up in the boots of the girl in the next cot over, and did half of the course on my hands and knees praying for someone to put me out of my misery. How I managed 15km is a minor miracle
