A fabulous Beer, must be sampled in Belgium, from a glass the shape and size of a goldfish bowl

A specialist beer shop has opened up here where you can get the glass taht goes with each beer.....has to be drunk out a glass the right shape dontchaknow.
Exactly, and in a little watering hole I used to frequent in Belgium served Hoegarten Grand Cru in a massive Hoegarten glass that you could quite easily keep fish in!

Have to agree Leffe is a top beer, though often served in half pints. The local CAMRA pub does many of the above mentioned as well as Chimay and lovely barmaids.

Get over here then Gwar, the local talent shoppe has a load of Belgian Beers they've just put on. Excellent Beer and Eye candy galore to go with it as you know.
He had bought a large map representing the sea,
Without the least vestige of land:
And the crew were much pleased when they found it to be
A map they could all understand.

I allways use a lot of beer or wine when cooking. Sometimes I even put some in the food.

Could I add Orval to the list? Hard to get over here - I've only seen it in Waitrose or Odbins. But it is a belter.

The Orval glass is the same shape as The Holy Grail, which is quite appropriate.

If you have Hoegarden on tap the bar b1tch should swirl the barrel in order to stir up the sediment. If she doesn't you can legally smash her in the face with the special glass. It is a beer best drunk from a bottle really.

I bought a crate of Leffe Brun when I was 16 (cos it was on offer and was all I could afford) and hid it in my locker at school. I felt SO grown-up Many a happy lunch break was had for a week or so.
