Re: My stockroom manager has no arm..
I think that Abercrombie & Fitch have to shoulder some of the blame here, due to their cack handed approach to recruitment of the disabled. I may be going out on a limb when I say that their underhanded tactics to hide this woman from sight are shocking. On the other hand, they could have discriminated against her because of some other reason, but personally the finger of blame lies with the management. This woman didn't need the elbow, just a chance to prove just how handy she could be.

If Julian Clarey walked into the shop, would he get a warm hand upon his entrance?

Re: My stockroom manager has no arm..
If I was A&F I'd argue in return that they were striking a blow for disabled rights by demonstrating that there are no roles in their organisation closed to the brachiocubitally challenged.
And that they stuck her in the stockroom because she is in fact an obnoxious shrew of a woman unfit for proximity to their customers, not because she's disabled. We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.
In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

Re: My stockroom manager has no arm..
Do I detect another lawsuit waiting in the wings, against the NHS for the embarrassment of giving her a 'white' arm.
For goodness sake, woman!, get a grip..

Remember to be polite if she comes in here, no asking her to "Biceps a drink."
